Wow there are sounds now
This time around I added sounds to the game
There are 7 sounds those being for keys, locked door, open door, a platform falling, a moving platform, dying, and touching a checkpoint. There is also some background sounds for certain areas.
As for how they were made for the key and two door sounds I recorded those myself and I just did those in my house.
Then for the platforms, dying, and checkpoint i used a software called BFXR.
For the background sound I found both of them on a website called OpenGameArt
Then for why the sounds the way they do for the doors the player is a robot so I wanted them so sound a bit slow and robotic. Then the key I was inspired by Pillar Chase 2 to make it sound like a key rattling around. For the platforms I wanted them to be a bit quicker so that the player would know that they would be fast and in the case of the falling one to get off of it as fast as they can. For the checkpoint I just wanted a quick and simple sound so the play knew they touched the checkpoint. For lava I wanted it to sound dangerous to the play knows not to touch it. For the horror sound at the end originally wanted something a bit holy but there wasn't anything like that where I looked so I went with the next best thing and I wanted to do that because the end has a light shining above it. For dying I just wanted a quick sound so the player know they messed up and died.
